Tiles have more or less a certain amount of porosity, soaking the water in front of the shop is to make its pores fully absorb water, prevent it from absorbing the moisture of the cement mortar, causing hollowing, falling off, and even cracks, especially for wall coverings. It is also the reason that the wall needs to be sprinkled before the wall is tiled.
Because of the different water absorption rates of different tiles, there is no specific standard, but the end result is that the tiles will “drink” the water and no more bubbles will be formed. If the water absorption rate is high, the bubble will have to last for a long time. The air is humid and the time must be shortened accordingly; when the weather is dry, the time must increase accordingly.
